Our first beer we sold at our shop and it flew out the door. We kinda thought it would, since it's damn tasty. Originally brewed with big load of freshly picked Nelson Sauvin, we believe this kit with hop pellets that are available year round will be equally tasty. Give it a try and see if you agree!

Brewed by Annie Johnson at the 2018 New Zealand Home-brewers' Conference, this is a punchy yet highly drinkable example of the Saison style. Featuring a combination of Riwaka and Wakatu hops, with small additions of oats and rye to add complexity

The League Brewery is the smallest craft brewery in the top of the South. Operating from the League of Brewers' home-brew shop, we make batches of beer of either 60L or 120L, using a Braumeister brew system and SS Brewtech fermenters and glycol systems. A true Red IPA - deep red colour and this delicious blend of complex malt and a big punch of American hops. Gladfield specialty malts selected for their deep red colour and rich malty profile are paired with Columbus, Chinook and Centennial hops.

A Belgian Saison with a Kiwi twist, using NZ Hort Research trial hop 9909 for a beautiful citrus aroma & flavour.

ABV: 7.1%

This recipe has been designed to use acid malt to reach the target mash pH. If you wish to use the recommended mineral additions to achieve the intended flavour profile, these are to be added to the boil only. This kit does not include the minerals, but these can be purchased separately.

The BJCP says: An IPA with the fruitiness and spiciness derived from the use of Belgian yeast. This beer has a more complex flavor profile and may be higher in alcohol than a typical IPA.

This one is brewed with a combination of New Zealand and German hops, providing it with a complex hop & Belgian yeast aroma backed by a solid malt base.

This is our take on the beer that is was leading the way for the craft beer revolution as we know it today: The iconic Sierra Nevada Pale Ale.

We've substituted in local malt and some local hops without changing the great balance and drink-ability this beer is known for - mainly because we believe craft is also about using local!
It doesn't get more local than brewing it yourself, right?
