These 29L stainless steel vessels are designed just like a commercial beer keg but with a large 10cm (4inch) tri-clover opening at the top so you can easily get inside the keg to clean it out. This new 29L size is perfect for doing 20-25L batches so you have a bit of spare head space inside the Kegmenter.
This Kegmenter comes with an airlock and flat plate however you can also use this kegmenter under pressure if you want to using the Kegmenter Lid with Ball Lock Posts, Dip Tube and PRV.

Fits T500 boiler - a distilling column condenser for reflux distilling made from stainless steel.
Stainless steel is the most durable metal in distilling and is much harder than copper.
By buying the stainless steel condenser (instead of the copper one) you trade the positive effects of copper (cleaner flavour of your distillate) for durability.
However, you can fill the column with copper mesh to get the copper effect. -

Copper reacts with sulfur in your wash – an element that has otherwise a foul taste and is naturally created when yeast ferments.
During the distillation process, sulfur binds with copper and produces hydrogen sulfide thus forming copper sulfate. -

This alembic copper domed top fits on to your Still Spirits T500 Boiler. This can be used in place of the boiler’s stainless steel lid. The large copper surface area of the alembic top acts as a catalyst with the vapour in the still and helps enhance and concentrate the flavours and aromas as well as remove unwanted sulphur compounds. This produces a smoother, richer, sweeter tasting spirit.

The Pot Still Alembic Condenser is best used with the T500 Boiler and the Pot Still Alembic Dome Top. You can use this with the T500 Boiler without the Pot Still Alembic Dome Top, to do this it fits on to the lid of the T500 Boiler. This condenser is what differentiates this still from the T500. It is what retains the flavour rather than stripping it out by refluxing. This comes with a thermometer, tubing and tap adaptor set.
