A Pot Condenser is used when you want the flavour of the wash to come through. For instance, if you ferment fruit or grains, it will allow some of that flavour to enter your distillate. If you use a reflux condenser, such as the Pure Distilling Reflux Condenser, you would just end up with pure, unflavoured vodka. Inject some flavour into your drinks with the Pure Distilling Pot Condenser!

The Pure Distilling 30L Boiler features an industry leading design that will ensure maximum output from your wash.

Features include:

• A dual element control heating system (500w & 1700w)
• A volume scale for easy filling
• Connects to power via a normal 10 amp plug

We recommend using both elements to heat up the wash to quickly achieve a rolling boil, once the desired temperature is reached we turn off the 500w element – leaving the 1700w on at all times to maintain a good head of steam

The Pure Distilling Alembic Dome is made from 99.7% copper and increases copper contact in the distilling process, capturing more sulphites and resulting in a higher quality product. The dome fits on top of your boilder and is used in place of the boiler lid.

The dome is designed for use with the Pot Condenser (sold separately).

To create Gladfield’s Peat Smoked Malt, our wonderful Distillers Malt is smoked in our in-house smoker using 100% New Zealand peat. The resulting malt is infused with a traditional mild, soft earthy flavour with phenols 40+ppm. This malt is primarily suited for making single malt whisky but is also great when used to flavour Scotch ales or darker maltier beers.
