Central Otago Apple Cider – Pure, Crisp & Refreshingly Dry
Made from 100% cider apple concentrate sourced from premium Central Otago cider apples, this refreshing cider is crisp, pure, and incredibly drinkable. Enjoy it as a classic apple cider or customise it with added fruit or Brick Road Fruit Flavour sachets (coming soon) to create your own favourite blend.
Simply add 1kg dextrose and a 5–10 g sachet of quality cider yeast, then ferment for 6–14 days depending on temperature and yeast strain.
Makes 23L of dry apple cider at approx 4% ABV with 1kg dextrose.
- For a medium cider, add 200g lactose
- For a sweet cider, add 500g lactose
- For a clean, crisp cider use AC-4 yeast
- For a balanced cider use AB-1 or Mangrove Jack's M02 yeast
- For sweeter fruitier ciders use AS-2 or TF-6 yeast
