5L Erlenmeyer flask made from Borosilicate glass. This means you can boil in it and stick it straight into a cold water bath for cooling right after without the glass shattering. Therefore the chance of contamination of your liquid is vastly reduced.
Great for making yeast starters. The 5 liter size is mainly useful for larger batch sizes than 23l.
